Hot N Cold

The day finally came...

It's so quick,

just five days,

and it came...

The rituals starts,

and as melancholy music is played,

tears came...

As we took a last look at his face,

in our mind that warm smile of his reminiscence.

The so familiar face we saw now in the coffin,

brought to the crematorium to be burnt.

As the time passes,

one minute, two minutes,

time passes agonizingly.

His turn finally came.

As he was brought to the furnace,

tears came once again,

cries from his children, relatives and friends echoed.

In that few seconds, it was all over...

Farewell, my uncle, and may you be blessed in heaven...

This poem is composed for my beloved uncle, who passed away on 11th of September last Thursday.

May my beloved aunt and her children( my cousins) and cousin in law be comforted.

God is sometime just so cruel, struck him with cancer and didn't even allow him to see his grandson, who is already 8 months in the womb...

Once again, farewell, my uncle, you will always be in my heart...
