Hot N Cold

Woke up at 10am today cause holiday due to thanksgiving. Had to go downstairs with my grandparents to buy ingredients for tomorrow's practical. Used computer and finished my maths homework. Topic on the shapes' area and perimeter is not confusing... I may be really bad at maths but I am at least good in some areas... Prepared my bag to go to Esplanade and set out. Wore band shoes and school socks cause I left my sport shoes and other socks at Hougang(Yep I only have 3 pairs of shoes:one pair of sandals,sport shoes and sneakers). Jason was still at home when I reached the MRT station. So I waited and waited and waited, until he finally took a MRT. Went to eat at the food court and saw Rahul, Wei Lun,Zhun Weng, Elissa and Hui Jun over there. The two of us were almost late cause I bought hot coffee... Somehow saw some of the girls walked towards Suntec when we are going to Esplanade. The concert was really cool, it's no wonder why NYCB has got gold awards for the SYF so many times... The conductor was wearing a tail when she conducted the "Disneyland Celebrations". They also danced during the Latin songs haha. They have so many players and our junior band are in different leagues from them, although I don't want to say so. Then took MRT home with the Sec 2 seniors. Cracked jokes with them on the way. I called my gramps to fetch me cause they say there is this psychopath around this area who...*ahem*, you know, do that... Also, I'm scard of ghosts... JKJK. But they say you should be home by 9pm or you should get someone to accompany you home. Superstitions but preventing is better, haha.

Views and reflections

I liked the double bass players from the NYCB. Their vibrato was good. Heard the oboists playing short solos and and I realised how much behind I am. After 5-6 months, I still couldn't master correct tone for oboe. I have decided to really go all out to learn about oboes and maybe,get a teacher. I want to be as good as a player as Jonathan and much better than I am now. I don't want to disappoint Mr Samuel and let him down for playing like this. Hope God will be with me through all this.
