My whole opinion of dentists thoroughly changed today.

I used to see dentists as those horrifying monsters that loves to dig your teeth.

However, today's check-up wasn't half bad at all...

Indeed, I should consider giving up something that I can't keep to gain something I can.

I really have been asking myself about this question.

Many knew that I have always not been happy that I wasn't selected to be in the EXCO.

I held on to that hope for quite some time though.

And even worse, I was made use of continuously by a certain someone inside EXCO as a substitute.

Always. And I had to endure it.

Should I follow Jim Elliot's example,

to give up this position as a student councillor,

and use it for more meaningful things like

Studies, Band, Ministry in church etc.

Life sounds easier if I do this,

at least I don't have to ponder about stuff,

get scolded for things I was told to do when an EXCO member told me to

and not being allowed to change things because I have no power to do so.

* Not ranting on EXCO on purpose though,

I just feel that I should be direct and not

Wow, this few days have been a blast.

Exams were not bad, think I should do good for it.

Went to have lunch with Wendy, Yeehong and Shu Fang.

And oh boy, they ate for an hour >.<

If you know them, Yeehong+Shu Fang= noisy.

They were laughing so loudly >.<

Went home after that, was kinda lazy to play badminton with them.

They kept pulling me though, and people looked O.O

I went for YF at Old Merlion Park today.

So had a long, long solitude, and I learnt a lot.

We went to Burger king afterwards and I got a Whopper(pickles!)

Then discussed about the Extension thing with Wei Chuan and Jie Shun,

before I went home =D

Had a really long day, so sat down and played oboe, must have disturbed the people celebrating the Lunar Festival downstairs. Sorry if I did π.π

Feeling really annoyed, angry, irritated, confused, headacheful?, depressed because things don't go my way.

I was fine at first at YF. Still fine when I was at EL. Saw something that made me unhappy...

So I went home... I kept thinking about what I saw, and got... jealous? That's why I was really annoyed.

And FB and Hotmail is not working properly, which makes even more annoyed.

I need to solve my personal relationship problems soon.

Today was really fun =D

Went to Harvest Care Centre to do CIP, goodie~bag packing. So packed like 2 hours, and boy it was hard work. Fooled around there for a bit too XD The helpers for ROMP! 2009, Robin and Janice were really friendly and nice =) Then walked towards Kallang from there with Sheryl, Jie Min and Ruth. Talked a lot of crap on the way :(

My sis is sick now, with a freaking high fever, so hope she will get well? And I heard that my seat in band was changed... Oh boy...

Have been pretty busy for these few days, so no time to update...

International Friendship Day! Mr C Kulanan came to school. Apparently Ms Yee was taught by him before... Then class, went like usual, with many funny things happening in the process. Ms Yee was asking us what movies we want to watch for post exam, then I said' PS: I love You'. Everyone look at me ?.?

Went to Tampines to watch '17 again' with Jing Ting jie, her friend and my sis. Was okay in overall, really funny. But the love part could use some refinements. Got back, got aunt to cut hair for me, and then slack around.

I think I'm going to blog less often now, since exams are coming and without band, there's nothing interesting in my life, haha :D

Ah.

Really tired these few days because I was so busy.

Went for service at 2pm yesterday. The sermon was a bit chim, but I somehow could understand it. I was supposed to join my mum and sis at Tampines 1, but did not because they went to aunt's house le... Just realised how close the shopping mall is to my aunt's place. Not even 5 minutes walk to there... Had dinner at a neighourhood coffeeshop, fooled for a while more before going home o MRT.

Then for today, CLASSES.

Washed dishes like mad during HE like mad, music, art, maths then chinese. Then went to band to help juniors. Some pleasant things happened today? And I've decided to go with the flow... Went to the flea market set up near my house with Yuke Ling, Amelia, Hui Ting and Zhi Jie. Just went home after a few minutes cause there was nothing that interested me.

Went to Church for Good Friday service today:D

Mr Chin did most of the sharing and talking about Good Friday, with many songs following on and on. Was rather an good experience for me. Surprised that Mr Chin and Mr Tay attends Emmaus too:D Said sinner's prayer after the session, and wala, a new me is reborn! Chatted around for a while before going with the church gang to Minds Cafe at Boat Quay.

Stayed there for an hour playing board games before going to meet Mum and family at V8 Cafe at Bugis Junction. Had dinner there, before going for some neoprints. Was really bad at it, cause it's my first time taking... Shopped around there, got my Birthday Cake, before returning home. Saw Ai Ling on the way back O.O

This year, God had really given me a fabulous birthday, with many well wishings from friends and family, and also a new life as a christian. I am really grateful for his everlasting love for me:D It has been an unforgettable brithday for me this year, being on Good Friday, being my birthday and also the day I received Christ. I'll never forget this day:D

GOD RAWKS!

Now that I think about it, it seems that God is messing around with me to test my faith for him. My mum had finally let me be a christian! I'm so happy!

I was basically praying about it when I had the time. What was so amazing was that today, my grandma was at her sister's house today, my grandpa brought my sis to tuition, my uncle went for barbeque. So only my mum and I were at home then. That gave me the perfect chance to actually talk to her about it, for the third time. My mum did not object because she doesn't want me to be a christian, but because it might agitate and make my gramps angry. I knew about that, which was why I was quite in a dilemma when I was thinking of what to do.

Now that I am going to say the sinner's prayer tomorrow( baptising is not going to happen now), I kind of think that my road to becoming a christian is not easy. It was always full of ups and downs, problems occurring when I finally gathered the courage to tell my parents. That always made me postpone it away...

God also had helped me get through the worst years of my life. And after like 7 years of trails and setbacks, He helped me out from that deep hole. He is amazing, all powerful and a loving judge. I love God:D

I would like to really thanks all the brothers and sisters at church, especially:

Jonathon, if not for you, I won't be able to know more about Christ, the wonders of God and be going to becoming a christian tomorrow.

Kelvin, for giving advices on so many things, and also helping to get closer to God.

Wei Chuan, for praying for me, playing the guitar for our small group singspiration, and helping me in lots of things.

Jordan, for giving me advice, helping me on road to Christianity.

Charles, for sharing so much about God to me. You have really made an impact on my life:D

Too many brothers and sisters to note, but I would like to thank you all, for praying for me, and guiding me on the way.

To be renewed( in a way) on my birthday, which also happens on Good Friday this year really sounds like a perfect plan. But it was God who planned it out perfectly. Fail to plan, plan to fail. But He never fails. God's plans only succeed.

I also want to thank everyone who has been wishing me happy birthday, helping me along and help my days to be always cheerful and fun.

Today has been a busy day:D

It's a new blogskin!!! Felt like changing it.

Lessons were alright today. Monday consists of the lessons that mostly need you to move around... Home Economics was really fun today:D Mrs Tan is really fun sometimes:D Music= no lessons, Art: drawing la. Wasted time after school in prefect room playing carren, before sitting down to read and going home.

Sister has been kind of annoying these days. She's really like a third~rate citizen: Wait to eat, wait to sleep, wait to die, and it's perfectly true. Wait for food at home, then wait for me to set mattress for her to sleep. And that leads on to waiting to die. Why did God give me such a sister instead of a hardworking and pleasant one??? Sigh...

Went to celebrate grandma's birthday( chinese) at Toa Payoh coffeeshop today.

Boring! Waited for like 2 hours and 10 minutes before we got our food. And other people who came later than us already had their dinner and freaking left. This is the last time I want to go there again, I swear.

Next incoming birthday would be mine, on the 10th of April, which is like Good Friday. I actually wanted to say the sinner's prayer and become a christian that day, but my mum objected to it. She said that she would only allow me to do so when I turn 21, matured and can make my own decisions, although she said she would not object me in going for the church activities... So I'm going to get Ms Ngneow to help me in persuading her. If all fails, I'll do it secretly. 7 years is just too long. The earlier I do it, the earlier I'll be saved, right?

Feeling tired after since a lot of stuff happened, which got me depressed, then positive, and the cycle goes on. Don't ask about it though, or I will hit you.

Decided that I am going to get Mr Samuel( if he is free) to give me music lessons(yes, really) I have thought about it for quite a while, since I messed up at SYF. He knows, and I know too. Now, to contact him...

Today is crazy!!!

Morning assembly totally freaked me out because there was like so many teachers absent and out for courses... That was one of the worst things that can ever happen man... Class was okay? I could do my maths test fairly easily( for once!) and chinese test is so easy I want to cry:)

Quiet time with Kelvin at lunch. Charles and Jordan came and join us though it's 'quiet time'... Today's verse was on Genesis 1:26~31. Discussed about it. then talked with Charles. He gave a life testimony, and I think he's really cool haha:) Went to the prefect room with Foo Xin and Jordan after that to slack. A lot of stupid stuff happened, as expected from Jordan the 'famous'. Got changed, then prepared for duty.

Handled the Sec 2 parent's meeting first, which was not included at first cause Foo Xin did not know about it=..= Subbed in, finished duty, then I went to help out Sec 4 parent meeting:) This was the humorous part about today:D

I gave out water, the parents wanted bread.

I gave out bread, the parents wanted to throw rubbish.

I collect rubbish, they want bread and water.

Just what do they want lol? Haha.

After all the hard work, I sat down at a corner with Jordan, then the TP guy at the booth came and sit with us. So we talked and talked, then became friends:D Wanted to take photo with them after everything ends, but could not because they vanished after I came back from helping Mr Tan in carrying the D&T stuff:( SO sad...

Came back home after that, had a late dinner. Now flipping through the brochures I got from CK( the TP guy)

Shall not blabber about school... Let's move to lunch:D

Had lunch in the school canteen around 1.50pm today:D Had my food, then went to talk with Ee Hui, Ai Ling, Lena, Mandy and Kenlia. Went around screaming 'cockroach' until Lena beat me up T.T Those 5 also ganged up on me and bully me T.T After they left, I went to talk to Kelvin, who told me to go for quiet session with him tomorrow. Next, talked to Tu Ling and Hui Fei who were eating.

After all that chatting, I went to prefects' room to wait for the meeting to start. Meeting started with cross~country feedback, councillor sharing, and then feedbacks on duties. I talked so much about la:D And I volunteered to usher for the Sec 4 parents meeting tomorrow. Duty will be at Wesley Hall staircase:D Went home after home, slacked, then here am I now la:D

Going to talk about some funny things and also congratulating people now:D

SYF is finally over!!!

After like 5 months of hard work, we've achieved a silver!!! Happy but super angry with myself cause I did not maintain my instrument well, thus resulted in sticky key pads that made me freak out during the performance...

BUT nevertheless, the band really did well this time:D And I think it was because of me that we couldn't get gold T.T Ah... Many people messaged me to ask about the results and I've just realised how fast time passed by:( Very soon the Sec 4s will be leaving, which I really don't want, and also the good memories that just fade away... I really can't imangine how I would be if I leave secondary school man... Secondary school is like a whole turning point in my life, with huge responsibilities and opportunities. It'll be tough to let go of it...

Enough of my blabbering, and I am going to help the sec 1s to improve:D They all really have a lot of potential, my cute little clarinet juniors Rachelyn, Esther, Si Ting, Lovelin, Hui Qing( is it anot), two I forgotten, then the saxophone juniors Jeremy and Christopher:D Ganbatte!!!

Sad over reed problems...

School was as per normal, so I really don't want to talk about it. Let's just go on to band.

Had an okay time trying to practice, then helped Zhi Hao in doing QM job. The cupboard is so messy! Went to bubble tes shop after that with Jason, hoping he'll calm down and not punch me because of he's angry... (not with me)

Walked back with him after that, split and went to take bus home. But I went to take MRT because apparently, the bus is not coming at all( getting frustrated) Got home, ate, rest, then cleaned up oboe. It really needs a squeaky clean~up after like so long. Also angry with myself, cause I ke kiang, go copy Mr Samuel cut the side of the reed. The one I'm using now( I wanted to use it for SYF) had one side cut a bit too in, so it's hard to tongue smoothly... So I frantically made sure I had an extra playable reed( without cutting) But the problem with that one is just that the high notes are not so nice... SIGH. Think the one I want to use is just temporary, cause I might have soaked it for too long, thus making it not nice:X Hope everything will be alright...

Went shopping at Toa Payoh Hub today. Got there at around 3.30pm with mum and sis, then went into Popular for a while. After that was shopping for school shoes at Bata, buying almond pastries at a bakery, dinner an home sweet home:D Pastries were really good:) I really loved the apple tart, so tasty! The macarons were good too:) Spent the rest of the day on the computer, and that's all... Sigh...

It's getting really boring with not much shopping... Shopping with mum and sis can be so boring because they look at the same things everytime...SYF is like on Wednesday, and I'm not even sure if I'm ready... Got some rather good comments from Mr Sim on Saturday's practice, but... Sigh...

Had a fruitful day hahaha:)

Went for bible study at coffeeshop opposite to the library with Jonathon:) Then of course ate there before going for band. Band was good:) But I somehow did not enjoy it... Can't seem to build up the 'feel good' feeling these days... Sigh... And I'm really getting scared for SYF... Really hope we get at least a silver, then head overseas! HAHAHA!!! ha...

Went to airport to fetch grandpa! Really missed gramps a lot and I finally realised how important he is in the house:) Who loves gramps? I do! Anyway, Javier was so funny. When we were viewing the aeroplanes, I told him:' Hey Javier, bad children get sent off in aeroplanes to go other countries, then they never come back,you want to go on an aeroplane next time?' Then he paused for a while, then go:" Ah I no want I no want!' Then I was like rolling on the floor cause it was so funny!

Today's weather is so hot...

Band today wasn't quite bad, but I keep having the feeling that I'm not enjoying it... Sigh... Returned home by MRT after that, and cough acted up again... Phlegm is coming out like my tears does... Seriously... Also had debates on whether if we should go for the Methodist Walk. The debates ended with a 'no'. That means I can sleep more before waking up to meet Jonathon for bible study.

The thing to look out for tomorrow is that my grandpa's coming to Singapore tomorrow! I really want to hug him now...

X~country today at Bedok Reservoir.

Went there by private prefect bus:D I didn't like the location?( behind Sheng Siong) Cause that Sheng Siong market happened to be the one I went to get stuff before going for the visit for my uncle then( he's passed away...)

The whole cross country was pretty fun, glad and happy to see Kajal win? It's nice to see an old friend and softballer whom I've known half my life win:D And I didn't run cause I had duty:( But Charles cheered me up with the pleasant 'hi bud' and nice~smelling deodorant spray, leaving me happy and refreshed...

Returned home without going to McDonalds with seniors cause I've just went there on Monday. Sorry guys:( Came back home with Mr Bean products, ate and had a nap. Then went to pass sis's wallet to her cause apparently she forgot to bring it on her way to tuition. Then met up with uncle to buy dinner cause my grandmother isn't cooking:( I hate fried rice...

I am officially going for tuition from the next next week onwards... Somehow happy? Sigh...

My temperature finally went down!!!

Freak... Missed band camp because I fell sick... With a temperature of 39.3'C... Slept for like two days straight until just now, when it finally went down... Took so muc panadol, strepsils, weird chinese medicine and went to the toilet multiple times... I wonder how I survived...

Been up to a lot of stuff these two days.

Went to aunt's house at Tampines to do E~learning stuff today, and it certainly was not a good day, cause both my couz are sick!!! So could only waste time by Jing Ting jie who was doing her homework(only sore throat) and I ended helping her with her biology=..= Even till now, I'm still wondering how I solved those questions?] I still don't know...

So, I stayed overnight there and then came to school for band by MRT:) Took the whole sec 1 clarinetists by myself( although Wun Khuan and Pei Yi came to help...) The fours that were here today were really fun people, and bullies who gang up on Wun Khuan to bully me T.T My precious recorder rolled onto the grass( WTH!?) and Pei Yi took it later on and used it as a baton!!! My poor recorder T.T

Went for main band after that, falled out, and then eat to have lunch at kopitiam with Dylan, Janson, Alvin, Alan and Janson. Almost got multiple pokes from Mandie T.T Actually wanted to bully TH, but she's too tiny, can't see:) Haha I'm gonna get killed by a certain eurasian:) Went home by MRT, landed at Kallang and then got my Mr. Bean:D I really can't do without it nowadays:D After that came with a day of homework, slacking and washing strawberries( not to mention eating them!)

This week really is not like a holiday:(

Did not blog after camp yesterday cause I was so tired...

Went to NEWater visitor centre at Bedok, and then datalogger at physics lab 3. Then lunched and went to Marina Barrage for Maths~Geog trail. Kept getting bullied by softball girls T.T Sheryl, Mandie and Jasmee= X.X Made powerpoint presentation, presented it and the camp ended, with everyone feeling grumpy cause Joy2~1 won=..= Came back home straight after the camp night with Amelia, then bathed and turned on laptop. Exchanged SMSes with Lena for a while, before going to bed:)

( So summarised:)

Woke up today after having some bad dreams that I think will be facing... I don't want to, but it is unavoidable when what I am talking about is concerned. Washed up, and then went to meet Johnathon for bible study:) Slacked in Emmaus, then went with Jun Liang to have lunch

when the others are moving to YF area before going to pool for swimming lesson.

Changed blogskin before I was bored:)

Life has really changing for me these few months, and it's hard to keep up.

First day of sec 2 camp rocked!

Went on a trip to Botanical gardens in the morning after band performance, before becoming back for lunch. Then we had rocket~building activity:) Wilson was so poor thing, kenna water poured on him many times:( And I got hit with a rock by Yuke Ling at somewhere where it will really hurt... Also kept bullying Lena who was studying at drop~in center haha:) Sounds pretty boring, but it was quite fun.

Bonding time was probably one of the most fun time of the day:) Wilson was asked to lead the cheer making thing, and he went:

Some good stuff happened today, but I don't really want to talk about it:) So Jason went with me to Emmaus after band audition because he had no CLB... Wasted time over there doing homework before leaving with him back to school with him to meet up with Wendy Wong. Unfortunately, she left already, so the two of us walked with Ting Hui back. Jason went to BBT by himself, and me and Ting Hui went to MRT.

Been pretty forgetful these few days:( Kept forgetting to bring stuff... Must be getting old :D

Trip to Kukup ROCKED!!! And, I spelled it wrongly on the previous post.

First day!

Reached Kukup at 12pm. I got in by motorcycle:) It's a really beautiful place, with many... Fishes? Went out for a walk, before going back to the resort house for lunch. Then we looked at the mudskippers, which were everywhere during low tide, and getting fishes up using the net. We even caught jellyfish! Watched the sunset after that, before having a seafood barbecue dinner and playing with fireworks and firecrackers! The fireworks so rocked!!! But the money used to get it also rocks=..= Then karaoked and majionged, although I didn't play:)

Second Day!

Woke up for breakfast at 9, and found out that we caught pufferfish! Although we did not eat it:) Then went to the kelong to see fishes. Then bathed, went for lunch and came back to Singapore:)

Kukup is really fun, and the hospitality was really good:) Will want to go there some other time:) Pics will be up as soon as possible:)

Slacked at home today, cause I had nothing to do. Then came back to gramps' house. And I've finally went to find my HE ingredients. Got fed up in the end, cause they didn't sell lettuce! All were cabbage... But in the end I finally dound one lettuce, although it's of a different shape. Don't give a damn about it anymore anyway:)

The end of a week is finally here. Had a relaxing weekend this week because I had no homework to do. And I'll mostly likely be having a short vacation next week at some small island in Malaysia. I really need to let loose, cause I have been really busy lately, and a lot of emotional issues to ponder and dream about.

Having HE practical and maybe grammer test tomorrow... God save me...

Having been posting for a day eh? Not really long:)

Bible study yesterday. Jonathon is a great study partner to be with, and I really enjoyed my first session. Looking forward to next week. And I might considering going for tuition at where my sis has hers at Bugis. Maybe on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. I think it's called Modular Education Centre... Anyone already having tuition there? But it depends, since I have to balance out all my activities on these days.

I really have to learn how to play louder but the sound goes weird when I play loud... And I kind of don't like it... Well, not that I can make any decent sounds anyway. The road on learning the oboe is not easy... And trip home was unpleasant, again. The thing I hoped will happen did not, which really makes me disappointed. Just have to learn to take things easy and slow...

Today was BUSY. Ran to and fro from Wesley Hall and classrooms to collect registers, common test, then run down to Sec 1 chapel duty, back to class, to chapel duty AGAIN, then sec 2 chapel duty, class, class decor, band and then finally the home sweet home.

A lot teachers are praising me today o.o Ms Yee said I'm very responsible, Mr Tay says I'm very self~sacrificial and Ms Yeo said ' very good' when I could answer all her questions on how we do our chapel duty. And the pic where I had a light bulb pic on Faliq's head during Prefects' Installation is outside the staff room:) Ok that was random.

Band was quite okay, but when the rain came, no mood again... And to end off worse, I had a bad trip on the way home... Sigh... And my sis's really bad~tempered these few days... She must be having her period ;) Haha...

Really tired now and a rest will be appreciated... Science common test by the way and I have to go for bible study session at Emmaus tomorrow. Just got to hold on...

Represented class for the 'Who wants to be a Millionaire' game for GEM time. Didn't get any prizes, but I think we did pretty good:) Then went to study at Emmaus HQ. Fooled around for a bit there before going back home. If you guys want to go there to study, tell me. The big bros over there teaches a lot of subjects, like maths and biology( but most people who go there don't even take this subject)

Now pondering over some matters at hand, and also the common test for tomorrow. I really do hope I will pass the test...

Bad Monday... Didn't study for chinese test and most likely will get below 17... Then Mrs Tan wanted me to redo my time plan, and she thought the cookies we were baking were cooked... But they are only almost baked... They still can be eaten anyway(:

Had band after school, and concluded that Zhi Jie has no teaching talent in him... He's teaching the sec 1s how to play notes on their first day... Lol. Don't even talk a bit more about the clarinet and share thoughts=..= Had full band after this and listened to recording of Merry Widow we played yesterday at TRCC. I was relieved to hear that my notes at figure 9 could be heard in the track and that I sound pretty good there... But I got to keep practicing my fingering until it becomes a part of me, or I might play wrongly during SYF.

Going to represent class for the game at GEM time tomorrow... Wish me luck?

Went to pri school to help out with activities yesterday(: Went around bringing the kids round and round the school. Then went to cut my hair after that. OMG the barber got problem one! My hair not symmetrical! And no sense of style at all=..= Why was I so cheapskate!? Save $3 and got a disastrous haircut. That ruined my day...

Then went to cousin's wedding. Both of them( my cousin and my cousin in~law) are both soldiers, so in the end got soldiers march in before they came in=..= So, gratz to them, and I hope that they'll have a fruitful marriage forever and ever.

And for today, of course it was the La Sinfornie d' Amis concert at Republic Polytechnic! GM Band rocked the stage! Enjoyed myself a lot today and I hope that we can have more of these concerts in the future( With preparation for encore:) Went home with Lena and Jocelyn after that, and quickly did my homework, and praying to remember what is needed for chinese test, cause I forgot to bring my book home=..=

Prefects' installation 2009! And Happy Thinking Day!

Today's installation was fun! Finally an official prefect after many many months of probation and hard work(: But the sad thing is that the whole installation thing might be cancelled from next year onwards as the principal does not want us to miss lessons=..= So just went all out for the installation today(:

Banded after installation. Pretty tiring... And one of my new reeds broke! One straight line down=..= I still can play on it, but not for SYF... Happened from after the fifteen minute rest, so that was the reason squeaks and weird sounds came out. Got home at only 8 plus cause of Sharon's wallet... She most likely misplaced it? Can't stand her =..= Always wait for people to keep her stuff... And so lazy... Even Zhi Hao is complaining=..=

Ah... Muscles are aching cause of the 50 push~ups as punishment for not doing maths homework( I didn't know) and moving the band instruments... Ouch...

Lessons are quite today, especially during science, cause we watched so many videos(: Then went to study at Emmaus Evangelical Free Church HQ. A lot of people today over there... So I got myself into a bible study session with Jonathan(: It's gonna be fun(: Adam's 4 weeks ahead of me=..= Went home at about 5+with homework done, of course. Then it's down to the computer...

And Prefects' Installation is tomorrow!!! This year's theme is 'Black Shine'. Cool right? Going to bring the RI ambassadors around after the installation too. Hope that all prefects and Sec 4s and 5s will enjoy the installation tomorrow.

Went to the office of the church where Jonathan and Kelvin goes... Couldn't remember the name... It was something something Free Church... Did homework over there, and thoroughly enjoyed it Adam also came later... Just realised I can also use my recorder to play with the christian songs.( I can play lol) They play the music, I play the vocal. Haha. Went home with Kelvin at 6, and talked about a lot of christian stuff. Didn't know he had already became a christian for so long le, half a year was it? I really want to become a christian:) Not just for novelty, but because I trust in God. Maybe once my family settles down...

Things have been bogging my mind lately, and I need time to sort it all out. Things can be so random at times these days and I'm thoroughly confused =..= Can someone help me?

Total Defense Day today:)

So long has passed since the last one haha. And it's like no one is commemorating it la... Hope that everyone remembers the need to prepare for war or terrorist attacks anytime and the need for National Education, so that our country will continue to prosper and be a stronghold that will not be beaten!

So changed my blog song to ' The Aim and End'. I feel that there's a lot of meaning in it that fits today. Aim for having a target to work for, and End to start a new chapter in the history of our little red dot Singapore.

I know that I'm typing a lot of philosophical stuff today, but that's the heartfelt words of a citizen of Singapore who loves his country:) Onwards Singapore! Let's make our country a better country each day! Huat Ah!

Went for swimming today... Honestly I don't hate swimming, it's just that the image I get in my mind: a 14 year old boy with a bunch of younger kids, makes me embarrassed =..= But it went okay, and I pretty much enjoyed it. Got home and spent a while playing a few notes on the oboe, and getting the reeds ready, and disassembling the old one(: K.Ge reeds are always so weird one... The playable ones are too soft to control the thickness of sound and the right tone I wanted, and the unplayable ones are just right =..= And there are still high notes that need the usage of side octave key which I can't get a thick sound... Oh god... What can I say, things about oboe are just too complicated to get right... I want to start learning how to make reeds by myself too...

Alone for Valentine's today anyway... Sigh... Two years more before the BGR contract expires... No one will wait take long... But you don't know, this rule might be broken soon, cause the school is talking about giving the students freedom(: So Discipline Comm's importance is dropping... But some minimum level of discipline still must be kept too, or our school will turn worse. I've a feeling people will hate me for being too strict next time =..=

Here are pics of the SUPER old reed I was using until yesterday... About 4 months liao... So it was pretty broken. Had to change it, or it probably will crack if I use it for La' Sinfonie D' Amis concert... Preparing to sell to Scotts and Edgar now:)

Total Defense Day cum Valentine's Day today.

Register duty was horribly messy due to Total Defense... Only finished duty at 8+ cause the sec 4s were having talk and the teachers didn't know who to give the registers back to... So class was almost relief all the way, and I went out to bring the sec 1s around the school. Shall not elaborate on what happened, but I would like to say here, good luck to you then, Joanne... Haha I'm laughing at someone's... Plight?

Went for Career Guidance thing after school. So we went to a website, did some assessments to see what you are suited for. And OMG, the job that are so~called suited for me are low~ income... Except maybe for lecturer, or a doctor?

Band ended early as well, and I've finally changed my reed. But still not good enough, and Mr Samuel wants me to season two more reeds T.T Had to gone home lonely without any flowers and confessions haha...

Overall sum up for today was pretty good, only I didn't get flowers and confessions, lol. Do you guys know that on Valentine's Day, the girls or guys confesses to the opposite sex( in this case:) and the person who had someone confessed to will reply to her confession? That's what I've heard from somewhere when I was young( ok, learnt from watching animes ). Don't know if it's true though... I'll get one next year, you'll see:)

Today is kind of... Boring? So much silence in the house...

Class was okay today? Got released early because Ms Cheng is at Sec 3 camp=..= Went for briefing at GMS(P) for their leadership training today, before going back to GMS(S) to help in the decorating of souvenirs? Even went out to get spray paint... Slacked around to 6, before returning. Then had my cocoa and biscuits( that's the reason why I'm growing fat) and do homework. Picked up a stick with crepe paper attached to it. Like the ones dancers use for twirling around themselves. So I was like playing with it at home. But it got boring after a while.

Saw another side of Mrs Wong today too. In most people's eyes, she is hated, but she really cares for us. I shall not elaborate on what made me say that, but her actions have moved me.

So what's up tomorrow? Career Guidance which is by the way compulsory, and then Band to 6.30, cause the Sec 3s are on camp=..=

Scienced, PEed, dutied, mathed, englished, PCed, Gem Timed, History test, IT lesson.

I guess that explains what happened today. Stayed back at school after IT to wait for Sunny Ho who was apparently teaching Eun Jin how to do her science work. Kept on bullying Marilyn when I was waiting? So funny when you see her pissed face (: But I don't even go near her when Sheryl Chng is there, or... I don't want to mention what will happen...

Some bad things happening again anyway...

1. I found a strand of white hair on my head.

2. I can't find the Tartini's devil's trill score that Michala Petri was playing on YouTube=..=

3. My Ang Bao so little!

4. My grandma's leg swelled.

5. I have been slacking.

I mean, what's wrong with me nowadays, lazy, slow, and not being myself. Sigh... Why will I get back to being myself? And bad luck's befalling on me. Someone spitted from the class building and it dropped on my tie. Talk about that. And my meat stew at HE became meat soup=.= Passed the retest at 12.5/20 and I don't know to be sad or angry when I made so many careless mistakes. Treating Zhi Jie milo cause I don't know how to say no.

100th day anniversary of my dad's passing today... So went to bai bai today. Would like to thank my dad's friends who came today. Thank you, for always standing by my dad, caring so much about him and being so loyal. I thank you on my dad's behalf. As they say, a good friendship goes on for life (:

Didn't post cause I fell asleep after I came back home...

Pissed off by Mrs Lee Fang Lan today. She can tell me she forgotten which class she takes attendance for and tell me to find what class it was. She just takes attendance for 1 class and she can say that. Really, nowadays teachers are taking prefects for granted. It doesn't matter if there are no rewards or anything but they can at least help us. We contribute so much and not a thanks from some of them.

Okay enough of it. Anyway I'm sure I will flunk maths retest again. Went for prefects' installation rehearsal at 3, and then went for band at 6. Just played all out... Didn't care about anything for a brief period of time... Went home with Jessica and Jocelyn? Then to the bed I go.

I would wish to tell you here that your actions recently( spreading of so untrue rumours, talking crap and taking advantage of me) has made me seriously angry and upset with you. If you do those stuff again, I'll get seriously, SERIOUSLY.

Lessons were okay today, everyday seems like the same, so no comments la. Mrs Chng got sick, so let's hope she gets well.

Went for briefing for TDD by Mr Chua outside staffroom before going to IT. Dreamweaver is fun:) Never knew IT enrichment is so fun. Looking forward to next lesson. And I came home, did homework and learn how to play Ponyo theme song. Can play le! Wakaka be jealous! And it's like the prefects' pledge cannot go into my brain... Can't seem to remember, and the dry run is tomorrow, which means goodbye to 2.5 hours of band:(

Wednesday is the one of the two very tiring days for register duty... Kept going up and down everywhere... Flunked english test today :x First time... I don't want to let this happen again T.T Luckily maths test got retest, so I have a chance to pass. And then had geog test... So many tests have been coming up, and pressure is building...

Went to prefects' room to play UNO while waiting for band. Chee Siong told me the bookshop auntie gave him a shirt instead of long pants that he needed for investiture!!! Wakaka and it's band to 6+? Jason went to eat so I went home with Jocelyn and Jessica=..=

Perfect day for register duty today! Ms Lam even came early to get her register! All~time new record! Wakaka!

Lol. Anyway, had another counseling session with Ms Nygeow today. Even got calendars. Thanks Ms Nygeow! Then dutied, maths which I got my flunked test paper back=..=, english which was relaxing today and lastly pastoral care. Lucky with Ms Cheng haha.And there was NE rep and CIP gem training at 2. And after that saw the St. Hilda volleyball guys downstairs. WT, all so tall, no wonder Daryl Wong say they are like SG youth team... And GM volleyballers are working really hard, so ganbatte!

Broke record for bowling buddies on facebook, now first haha.

Didn't notice this is my 202th post already:) Haha.

School was ok today? Kind of a disaster with making cake at HE, missing Music due to Mr Sim going to SYF thing, messed up art and admired Honey for making hers so well, falling asleep at maths and slacking during chinese.

Went for sec 1 pal debriefing at 2. So they gave us a luxurious meal of pizza and then made us calculate the surveys by sec 1s. Geez why didn't they use computer... Oh then got assigned to duty on TDD. Kenna Faith 1~2, yay! And I'm going to train the primary school prefects on 21st of February.

And it's band sectionals after that. Sec 1s were auditioning for instruments today? Looked quite fun. But I went on with sectionals. Then walked home with Jason AND Ting Hui, WHO is waiting for Jason. Then banana splitted on the way to go back home with Jocelyn and Lena. Now being frustrated because the low Bb for oboe still cannot play, need to ask Mr Samuel what to do with it, and about his concert, sigh... Can anyone tell me that she or she or they want to go? Please?

Band exchange at Yu Ying Sec today. Got chased by flag day people the moment I've stepped in school and that's $1.20 gone... But Zhi Jie returned his $2:)Super tiring, cause we're listening to a long of pieces. Yu Ying Sec even gave such a nice gift to my section, which is me and me alone la. So much better than saxophones, cause they only two oranges:D And still have package made for the whole band. Then Alvin and Qin Yi's quarrel entertained me for the whole trip back:)

The band exchange was quite demoralizing, cause it showed us how much better some of the bands are than in our aspect. Woke me up? Time isn't on our side...

Oh ya, went for dinner at night with whole family. Javier still so cute! My aunt told me he's going to be on magazine shoot:D YAY! He was selected okay. I can't wait to see the photos! Wakaka, so happy!

Schooled, and banded today:) Prefects might be closing the shutters to prevent people from getting out:) Wow.

Anyway went for band as usual today. Then took SYF marching and some other videos. Reached home at about 8 ok... Did not get chance to play recorder:( But don't worry, got other chances!

Just to tell everyone: Mr Samuel is performing at NAFA( where Mr Ed had his concert) next Sunday, 9th February. Tickets are $10 each and I'm not sure about time. Do come, cause I really want to go and no one wants to accompany me... Anyone, except Zhi Jie( cause he will want me to lend him money, again:C) Girl or Boy, young or the young at heart, just one person, please T.T

Stayed at home on CNY day 2:O So slacked, tried to practiced oboe to no avail and snacked on lots of sweets and, snacks. And I even had 6 pieces of hawaiian pizza, which is like one regular pizza, 2 spicy drumsticks and 2 honey wings... Boy I'm putting on weight... Better exercise more in the coming weeks.

I really want to play my recorder at school during sectionals tomorrow, but Zhi Jie freaking thinks I'm showing off to everyone... I just wanted to show everyone recorder is nice also... 他心胸也太狭宰了吧。。。(can't find the word in com) Think will just bring it along for fun... And the Sec 1s are coming tomorrow, maybe some gigs?

Chinese new year today, but don't need to travel around in morning, cause I'm at Gramp's house:p So celebrated here first and had a fun time? And so went to uncle's house after that. Ang baos ah!!! Not a lot... T.T Slept for a while there before waking up and talk. Just realised that my cousin Francis is a international acclaimed art designer who has won international awards and was even ranked 19th out of 30 overall top young creative in the world ranked by the YGA... Oh man, couldn't tell it... Didn't know my couz was so pro... If I ask him to do the website designing for the web portal project, then sure win liao le la! Only no money to employ his services... Zzz.

Happy Chinese New Year guys!!!

Reunion dinner today:) At one at uncle's house. So we had steamboat and everyone had a fun time talking? Then another one at Payoh. Baby Javier is so cute!!! Took pics of him and can't seem to stop:) And stayed at home for a while until cousins came cause they baked pizza bread and wanted us to try! Fooled around together and they just left.

Would like to put pics, but the computer bluetooth got problems, so maybe tomorrow or the day after that...

Today

CNY celebration. So tiring. Gave Mrs Chng her oranges and she hugged me? Oh and tried to collect Ang Bao from Ee Hui cause I thought she married to Sean! HAHA. Went to Primary school afterwards. Not a lot of people went=.= 6 Love only 3 guys, including me. So went around finding teachers and had a lot of fun. Then went home with Edgar and Joel at 4. So slacking now, and watching TV.

Wednesdays are the longest days in the week, cause I have so much to do. Kept going in and out of classroom for prefect stuff until like never study today... Then forgot to bring oboe to school today!!! In the end gramps brought it to school for me.

So band was ok, pretty boring for some reason. Then went home to realise that I've left my watch in school!!! Hope I can find it at the place where I left it today. It was the last prezzie my dad gave meT.T Must find it! If anyone found it please come and tell me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Second counseling session today:) More open this time, and spoke about more stuff. Probably no more sessions? I feel more comfortable when talking about personal matters to Ms Ngyeow, so I feel that I don't need to hold back. So thanks you, Ms Ngyeow for the awesome sessions. I got to skip PE too!

Oh, Mdm Eng came to find me again today again cause she was delayed last Friday'.' I don't think should take the assistance thing... LOL she said had never seen such a huge amount of salary for people who apply for it. So figured out that I should give the chance to others who need the assistance more:)

Practice with Sec 1s after school, then went to BBT to eat lunch. Then saw Man Hua, so we talked about stuff and it was enjoying:) Then got back home and did homework. So I'm slacking now haha.

So got prefect T~shirt after school, and it's blue... I want black... Then went for band. Sectionals was fun, but was pissed off when Zhi Jie said that the recorder is annoying and he hates it... Is it just me or is he getting more offensive in his speech nowadays... Then ran around......... And then went to BBT with Jason. Got chocolate ice and a burger. Then go back home haha.

Watched Campus Superstar on TV. Hui Shi touched me the most. She had lost her mother, and for me, my dad. But she faced the problem straight and had courage to go on. So like when she is singing '勇气', I was crying.( I really did) Knowing that someone else had their parent pass away made me realised that I'm not the only one suffering. There are still people like me around the world. I should face up to it and be brave. God will help me through this.

Okay BTW I will be giving Mrs Chng oranges during CNY. Since Rev Jasper Sim, Mr Richard Chia and Ms Doris Ho have been taken by Robia, Shawn and Adam, I figured Mrs Chng is the best to take on:) Cause she's funny and I know her:) wakaka.

Overture story dun want say liao, cause Wun Khuan is going to kill me, and Robia is threatening me to not pass me for prefect:] BULLY! Although I am one also.

Finally the end of a long week. So many things had happened this week and I'm looking to a new week tomorrow:)

Did coursework for HE and maths homework today, Don't have a single about maths!!! So like never do 6 questions... Benjamin to my help tomorrow:) Forgot to mention that he and I switched places so hands won't fight. Then went to Heartland Mall eat. Been going there so much recently cause it's on the way home... Then tried to find Way Ahead at Popular. But no stock unfortunately... The salesperson told me that in most Populars in Singapore have also either sold out or only have 1 or 2 of it. So she helped us reserve 2 copies at Toa Payoh Popular, which has 14 books( the most): one for me, one for Ronald. Thanks lady!

Returned home, and Jason got the sopranino recorder too. Hope he learns fast... And don't make the recorder lose its worth... I almost cried last Wednesday cause Zhi Jie played on it and... I don't want to mention it...... If he learns finish the techniques by July then I'll go to Yamaha to see if there's any duo or etudes to play together. Oh, and I got a OCBC mighty savers account:)
